Teaching K9 Safety

While out with some Rangers I discovered a minor injury on one of the dogs that hadn’t been noticed yet.

So the very next thing I taught was something I learned from Jo-Anne Brenner with K9 Medic!

I showed each ranger how to do a full-body check of their dogs after every outing and then had them demonstrate it back to me.

Explaining that they must thoroughly inspect their K9 partner after every patrol I hope to avoid unchecked injuries.

One day I hope for all of our rangers to have the impressive and incredibly useful experience of learning from K9 Medic!
