It had been a few months being on the reserve and I had yet to see or photograph lions! It was becoming an ongoing joke around base as the guys would always see lions when I wasn't there but never when I was. It was Sunday so we all loaded up and headed out. We ended up finding a young pride and were granted the opportunity to watch them set up for a hunt. The coordinated dance was beautiful but in the end, a young eager male blew the hunt by revealing himself too soon and scattering the herd of assorted antelope!
